SCHOOL AND HOME
Our school has an “in it together” attitude to learning. We believe in letting our parents and guardians know what and how we are learning. We encourage a two-way dialogue between school and home and support this through parents and teachers meeting once every term. During these meetings, parents are informed about their children’s weak subject areas, attitudes, and lack of attendance/punctuality to school, need for cleanliness, and response to homework.
We also believe that homework can help re-enforce what we learn at school. All our children get homework daily, but our teachers are careful to make sure that it is kept to an appropriate level. We encourage our parents to allow their children to attempt the homework on their own, as this helps the faculty identify any weaknesses the child may have.
